Spring here in the South was exceptionally messy. In addition to several thunderstorms, the abundance of flora mean that the pollen is especially dense and all pervasive.
Cleaning our entrance and front porch—which is a meeting place for many species of beetles, creepy crawlies and more—is a challenge.
We began by removing all the furniture and used CLR Outdoor Furniture cleaner on a woven leopard print indoor/outdoor rug. The bottle claims it can be applied to plastic/resins, rattan, wicker, wood, wrought iron, vinyl, PVC and canvas—typically all the outdoor surfaces on most porches and patios. The spray pump works well, allowing it to cover crvices and cracks. It did a good job of getting out stains, pollen and a bit of mildew. It did such a good job that we applied it to a child’s chair, a basket and a variety of other surfaces with equal success.
After everything was hosed and allowed to dry it looked pretty good.
