A large area of high pressure will build across the region today. Thunderstorms will try to approach from the northwest during the day, but these storms are forecast to fall apart before reaching our area.
It will be a pleasant and warm day across the region. Under partly sunny skies, afternoon highs will reach the low to mid 70s.
It will be mostly clear to partly cloudy overnight tonight. There could be some patchy fog after midnight, and in a few locations, it could become locally dense. Overnight lows will dip into the low 50s.
It will be another very nice day on Wednesday with partly sunny skies expected and afternoon highs once again reaching the mid 70s.
Wednesday night will feature mostly clear skies. Overnight lows will be around 50 degrees.
Yet another sunny day is expected on Thursday with afternoon highs in the low to mid 70s.
Clouds and the threat of rain showers will begin to increase on Friday as a very slow moving cold front approaches from the west. It will remain mild through the end of the week.
