Reason 10 – There are often great bargain fares.
Reason 9 – Cruises depart from many US ports, making it only a drive to board a ship for most in the USA.
Reason 8 – Cruises are available in virtually all regions of the world.
Reason 7 – There is more ocean than land on our planet. (It’s all that blue stuff on the globe.)
Reason 6 – There are many different ships and river boats designed with various customers in mind, from cheap weekend booze cruises to the most elegant first class travel aimed at a more mature audience.
Reason 5 – There are several cruise lines plying the oceans and major rivers offering various experiences even on the same itinerary. Again this helps make cruising something pretty much everyone can experience and enjoy.
Reason 4 – Cruising is a safe way to travel. Despite some recent mishaps, overall cruising offers a very safe and reliable method of moving around between various ports to see the world.
Reason 3 – It is the only vacation where you can unpack once and see many different destinations, enjoy sea days (sitting in the sun beside the pool), enjoy live entertainment (Broadway style shows on some ships), have various athletic activities available, and still tuck yourself into the same bed each night.
Reason 2 – Cruising is a very cost effective vacation. The costs are mostly inclusive (Some cruise lines are all inclusive) where most food, some beverages, and travel are all bundled into one price. The typical cruise will have extra costs for booze and side trips in ports.
Reason 1 – It’s FUN! Most passengers return backing stating they had a great time and will likely cruise again.
