Even the Supreme Court Judges ask questions like: “When did it become against the constitution to exclude some group from marriage?” “Where would this end?” Under what principle could you ban threesomes, foursomes and moresomes? What would stop adult mothers from being able to marry sons? “This is new to the world,” one justice said; we know little about this. “This type of marriage has only been around since 2,000 AD, the judge said.” What about bestiality? Yes these are real questions. You see when revelation or a demand from an all wise authority, God is left out, people walk like blind men and it was and is all unnecessary.
Once the Court decides that they can only choose secular models or information in order to determine what constitutes a just society; they will have already chosen in favor of a Godless one. One where it is possible that that portion of society that believe in God is put at a disadvantage and is even persecuted. There is a hate crime case going on in Canada where same sex marriage is a right. The Minister simply preached what the Bible says that God says about Homosexuality. This is just one of a number of examples of the problem of creating rights outside the formula articulated by the framers of our constitution. California law has made it illegal for therapist to do what they have done for decades, help to correct the behavior. Gary McFarlane, a therapist was fired for refusing to treat a same sex couple for their sexual issues. You see LAWS are made and executed for three reasons. (a) To teach (b) to normalize society (3) to set a standard from which people can be rewarded or punished.
What if the people who believe in God are correct? Well, if that is the case, our leaders will have set our institutions on a path coercing the people to spit in God’s face possibly bringing on judgment from him; not a small matter! Even if you imagine that the religion of Secular humanism is right, you still will have chosen the religion for the people and you will have pitted one section of the population against another one; causing a result unknown and maybe unwanted. …..
