The era of Hip-Hop party promotion, dates back to Sean “Puffy” Combs at Howard University. P-Diddy was known for promoting large and extravagant parties in Washington D. C, on the coast where hip-hop was getting national recognition with artist such as Jodeci and Mary J. Blige in New York (www.answers.com). Fast forward 20 years later, Slim and his partners at Plush Blue Entertainment have taken party promotion to the next level in Atlanta, Georgia—Black Hollywood as some may call it.
Slim’s business partner a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a Marketing and Business Degree, has stated that he has always liked the party scene and wanted to make a career out of it, as his first party was unsuccessful he vowed to himself, that he would never have an unsuccessful party again-and hasn’t (www.reignmag.com). He and Omar “Slim” White began putting all their energies and efforts in their business to ensure that their organization plan and present the most successful parties of their type in Atlanta, Ga.
A disciplined man by far, a vegan that one can see works out every day. A self-proclaimed intellect Slim states, “I’m well read and highly intelligent. Don’t become tangled into stereotypes, in terms of people looking a certain way and not being able to hold intellectual discussions.”
Slim is about his business, he owns four businesses that consist of party promotions, concerts and exclusive events with celebrities, he can be seen in photos and promoting parties for Bobby Valentino, Ludacris, Young Jezzy, Venus Williams and P-Diddy . He celebrated his birthday, having a part I and part II edition. Happy Birthday to Slim of Plush Blue Entertainment!
