West Palm Beach on the waterfront will soon be bustling with the sights and sounds of 31st Annual Sunfest. This five day festival of arts and culture brings over 2000 volunteers together along with 23 different committees to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of event goers that it draws to South Florida from May 1 through May 5, 2013.
There can be no more attractive place to be than enjoying the fresh air and the scenery of the Intracoastal Waterway. As you stroll along Flagler Drive, you will be astounded by the creativity of over 140 national artists displaying their work for viewing, judging and for purchase. Whatever strikes your fancy can be found here from jewelry, paintings, pottery and ceramics, photography, sculpture, wood, arts & crafts and more. Sunfest is a family affair complete with a youth park with all kinds of activities for the kids. Once the street heats up, head out to the Floating Oasis where the Captain Morgan barge is docked. Step on for some refreshing cocktails in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

The festival comes to an enchanting end on Sunday evening, May 5, 2013, as the Verizon Wireless Fireworks light up the evening at 9:00 p.m. This is one of the largest firework shows on the East Coast. As you watch the colors pop in the night sky, it is all set to music and simulcast on Gater 98.7FM.
