As of yesterday, Sprint was completely sold out of pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4, though you can find the Sprint phone on other sites. AT&T is close to being sold out of the device on their site. Verizon pre-orders of the Galaxy S4 have gone through the roof and we are told that the only reason they haven’t sold out is because they have far more units available than the other carriers.
AT&T will receive the Galaxy S4 in their stores on April 27, although pre-orders will start arriving today. Sprint will also start selling the device on April 27, but we haven’t heard when pre-orders will arrive for customers. Verizon is expected to start selling the Galaxy S4 in early to mid May, while T-Mobile starts selling the device tomorrow.
Reviewers have called the Galaxy S4 a top-notch phone, but also note that it isn’t much different from the Galaxy S3. Samsung has a lot of competition from the HTC One, which has been described by some as the greatest smartphone in existence.
