Rob Kardashian has been working hard on his newest business, his sock line, which launched last year. Fans saw how he struggled with the launch of his business on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” because he felt left out of his sisters’ successful businesses. He wanted to start his own business, but follow the success story of Kim Kardashian, his sister. “Arthur George” is the name of the sock line, which had the support of both Lamar Odom and Scott Disick. Rob was lucky enough to get the sock line featured at Neiman Marcus. However, according to a new Radar Online report released on April 26, Rob Kardashian may have to look for another distributor, because his socks aren’t selling as much.
“Rob’s socks sold around the Christmas holiday, but since then no one has been really buying them,” a source at the Neiman Marcus store in Beverly Hills has revealed. Apparently, Rob’s sock line isn’t really selling, and $30 for a pair of socks may be the reason why. “We actually had to ship a bunch out to other stores because they weren’t moving at all. To be honest, a lot of customers bought them more as a gag gift. At this point it doesn’t look like we’re going order anymore.”
While Rob may want to hold his sock line to a high standard, it sounds like he needs to create a product that is in demand. Given the majority of his sisters’ fans are girls, it is difficult to start selling socks for men.
