Red Lobster is looking a little different, both inside and out, and it’s not just a coat of paint. Branches all across the country have undergone a complete transformation. From a brand new exterior with stone towers, ship lanterns and other touches reminiscent of New England style and architecture, to a completely revamped menu, Red Lobster is showing the world how to sea food differently.
Examiners were provided with an opportunity to try the brand new Maine Stays Menu, a delicious variety of entrees for $15 or less. These entrees are available everyday and still come with a salad and those signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. Options include bacon wrapped shrimp, tilapia with lemon garlic butter, Chesapeake shrimp with crab and Caesar salad salmon.
And Red Lobster isn’t just for seafood fanatics anymore. One of the real standouts on the new menu is the wood-grilled pork chop topped with apple compote and a peach-bourbon BBQ sauce. This item is a result of a concerted effort to appeal to a wider audience by offering a menu comprised of 25% non-seafood items (up from just 8% in the menu’s previous iteration). Those not hip to fish, should also check out the blue cheese sirloin, tropical glazed BBQ chicken and the roasted vegetable skewers. Diners can also choose the Bar Harbor or cobb salad, which can be topped with chicken, shrimp or salmon.
With all of the new options, it is impossible to go wrong with any of these great menu choices.
