A ponytail stunt went very wrong when an Indian daredevil used his hair tied in a ponytail to move along a zipline. When Sailendra Nath Roy tried to cover the distance of 600 feet by sliding along a zipline by his ponytail, he hit a snag, according to News Term on April 29, 2013.
In a horrific sight for the spectators, this daredevil was left dangling by his hair and screaming for help. While trying to cross the River Teesta in West Bengal over the weekend, he was stuck and he could not move. All he could do was try and inch forward to no avail. His screams lasted for about 20 minutes, after that he went limp.
By the time rescuers reached the stuntman, it was too late. Doctors think he probably died of a heart attack. The 49-year-old Roy already held the Guinness World Record for covering the most distance on a zipline hanging by his hair.
