United Paranormal Project (UPP) has announced an auction for the prize of a private paranormal investigation – for up to 15 adults – at the Twin City Opera House in McConnelsville, OH. The auction, which began on 4/6/2013, runs through 4/13/2013 at noon, Eastern Daylight Time. Retail value is $400.
The Twin City Opera House has been investigated extensively by UPP and other groups and is considered to be one of the most active locations in the Midwest. UPP has recorded hundreds of EVPs from this one location. More information, including history and evidence, is available on their website.
The rules for this auction are: (1) Highest bidder wins; (2) You may bid as often as you like until noon on 4/13/2013. Submit your bid by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org, clearly indicating your bid in numerals; for example, $400.00. Provide your full name, mailing address, and phone number.
The Winner will be notified by email and/or telephone call within 48 hours of the auction end date/time. Winner must verify receipt of winning bid notification and then pay the winning bid amount within 48 hours of initial notification. A Winner who fails to reply (and pay money owed) within the allotted time, FORFEITS the winning bid.
Before placing a bid, you must agree to the statements listed below:
Winner may invite up to 14 additional persons to accompany the winner on the investigation (ABSOLUTELY no more than 15 attendees is permitted). Winner is responsible to guarantee that each person attending this event is of legal adult age AND each person attending must sign the Twin City Opera House WAIVER/INDEMNITY CLAUSE which may be found at this link. http://www.twincityoperahouse.com/waiver-form.php
Winner is required to print the waiver document and have all persons in their party sign it and present this document on the day of the investigation.
All persons attending this event must agree to abide by all rules and regulations of visiting the Twin City Opera House, available online at this link. http://www.twincityoperahouse.com You must read the rules prior to your visit. Ignorance of the rules is unacceptable.
There will be no refund of the winning bid amount, regardless of circumstances.
It is the Winner’s responsibility to contact the Twin City Opera House and make their own arrangement to set a date for their investigation. The Winner should go to the aforementioned web site to reserve their desired date and time and use this email to confirm your desired date: email@example.com
Once a bid is placed/entered, that bid cannot be withdrawn.
In placing a bid, the bidder agrees that the bidder cannot/will not hold Alex Hedge of Ghost Hunters United (“GHU”) liable in any way, manner or method for failure of this event to take place. Failure to investigate includes (but not limited to) cancellation of this event by the Winner or cancellation of this event by the Twin City Opera House. If a dispute arises – due to failure of this event to take pace – Winner must be willing to negotiate directly with the Twin City Opera House to remedy the situation.
The winning bid and the event IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.
The winning bid and the event cannot be sold, given away or postponed.
Transportation to and from the location of Twin City Opera House is the responsibility of the Winner.
