Harrah’s Philly, more officially known as Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Race Track, has a new casual eatery, the Philly Tap & Tavern. Philly Tap & Tavern brings you the best in classical bar cuisine, along with a multitude of craft and specialty beer selections.
“The one thing that was missing from our Harrah’s Philadelphia property was a bar and restaurant devoted to those everyday comforts. I’m speaking of an atmosphere where you can watch your favorite sports team compete while you and your friends enjoy a nice-cold round,” said Ron Baumann, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah’s Philadelphia. “The Philly Tap & Tavern is as unpretentious as it gets; it’s a modern setting devoted to providing our guests with diverse beer and food options that they would be hard pressed to find anywhere else.”
So just what can you get at Philly Tap & Tavern? If you’re into beer, you’ll be in heaven here. Drafts include Yuengling, Coors Light, Sam Adams, Blue Moon and Newcastle Brown Ale, just to name a few. There are lots of bottled beers, as well. You can get Corona, Amstel Light, Schlitz, Abita Purple Haze, Golden Monkey, Redd’s Apple Ale and Green Flash Rayon Vert, again, just to name a few of the excellent beers available at Philly Tap & Tavern.
But what about food, you say? Philly Tap & Tavern’s menu is dedicated to those old- fashioned bar foods you know and love. Created by all-star Chef Justin Vignola, you can nosh on such staples as Beer-Battered Onion Rings, Fried Green Beans, Bacon-Covered Potato Skins, Twice-Fried Chicken Wings (Naked, Hot, Mild, Honey BBQ, Sweet Chili and Garlic Parmesan), Signature Homemade Chili, Pulled Pork Sliders, Classic Grilled Cheese, Philly Cheesesteaks, Ball Park Hot Dogs, N.Y. Strip Steak and Fish n’ Chips, as well as eight different types of burgers.
