Natura Pet Products, which issued a voluntary recall earlier in March 2013, has expanded its voluntary recall to a wider range of its products. The issue is potential Salmonella contamination, which seems to have plagued many pet food brands in the last two months.
This recall involves specific California Natural, Innova, EVO, Karma and Healthwise formulas, it does not include Mother Nature and wet products sold for pets.
Because the list is sixteen pages long – here is a link to the original letter from Natura Pet and the list of recalled items – click here. The products include cat and dog foods.
This letter was sent to retailers throughout the United States. If you have a question or concern regarding the Natura Pet products, please contact Natura Pet directly at their website at http://www.naturapet.com/contact-us or call them at (800) 532-7261 between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (Central Standard Time) Monday – Friday.
