Miley Cyrus covers the June issue of Elle U.K. with a look both “punk and a little edgy,” as the singer describes herself. Just what Miley wants. She says the slightly “more alternative” Elle is a better match to her own outlook on fashion, reports Yahoo on Monday, April 29, than other glossy magazines.
The former “Hannah Montana” of the wild, wavy locks has pulled her stark, sleek pixie hair into a sophisticated punk, styled by Jenny Cho, reports MTV. Is there such a thing? And she totally rocks a sexy, yet urbane black and white sleeveless jacket with a deep vee and asymmetrical lapels, showcasing a lot of Miley in the middle. The makeup repeats the black and white theme.
The pose is stylish and classy. She stands arms in the air, and it’s appealing on several levels. With her hands behind her head, she reveals one simple tattoo. Definitely edgy.
Miley, at 20, is all grown up, and the Miley Cyrus cover shows the woman she has become. Complex, for certain.
Miley talks about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, but she announces: “We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight — into my life and my puppies and my house — and I just don’t feel they get that privilege anymore.” Her twitter talks will focus on music from now on. No more photos of puppies.
Miley Cyrus is, she says, much more conservative. That’s not what her cover look reveals.
