Scheduled to open Memorial Day 2013, Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas will bring back to the desert valley something it has been without for nearly 10 years – a premier water park the entire family can enjoy.
Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas will feature more than 25 slides and attractions will not only appeal to families but thrill seekers as well. Located at 7055 S. Fort Apache Rd, just off 1-215 between Warm Springs Road and Sunset Road, locals are just a short trip away from anywhere in the valley to the best fun under the sun.
For those who love excitement, experience the 57 foot drop of the Hoover Half Pipe or the Rattler, the only slide of its kind in North America – and you will only find it in Las Vegas. For a more relaxing day check out the Colorado Cooler, a lazy river running 1,000 feet. And the children will love Splash Island, a multi-level interactive area filled with mini-slides, dumping buckets and geysers. And Red Rock Bay, the giant wave pool, will keep everyone cool.
Village Roadshow Limited, an Australian entertainment conglomerate, will manage the theme park while holding a 51 percent stake in it. Other investors include Las Vegas residents Andre Agassi and his wife Steffi Graf, Dr. Steven and Karen Thomas of the Thomas and Mack family, and Roger and Scott Bulloch of SPB Capital Partners.
