Justin Bieber’s pal Lil Twist made headlines for throwing a “pot party” at the singer’s mansion, but according to a March 31 report by Perez Hilton, the Biebs’ pal King Kevi is serving up a really dangerous drug — he’s hosting sizzurp parties at Justin’s house.
Sizzurp is the mixture of codeine cough syrup, Sprite or Mountain Dew, and Jolly Ranchers that was originally blamed on Lil Wayne’s seizure, but the rapper has since spoken out and said that he’s suffering from epilepsy. The mixture, which is also known as “purple drank,” can be deadly when too much is consumed. DJ Screw, a musician who helped to popularize the drink, died from a sizzurp overdose.
So, needless to say, it’s not a good idea for Justin Bieber to let his friends throw sizzurp parties at his mansion. Codeine is illegal without a prescription, and someone might end up dying in his home if they consume too much of it.
Justin reportedly shares his mansion with Lil Twist, King Kevi, and another friend who doesn’t want his identity revealed. The guys don’t pay rent and are allowed to drive all of Justin Bieber’s cars. According to Perez Hilton, King Kevi has allegedly thrown 30 parties in just one month since moving in with the Biebs and Lil Twist. There’s no mention of if the parties only happen when Justin is away on tour or if the Biebs also participates in them, but he’s obviously not against partying since he’s been photographed smoking weed with Lil Twist. King Kevi’s parties have a very high female-to-male ratio, so maybe this is why a newly-single Justin Bieber allows his pal to trash his place over and over again.
So basically it looks like Justin has three “friends” who are using him by living at his place rent-free and recklessly driving his cars. It’s also likely that they’re picking up girls by touting their friendship with the Biebs, and maybe they’re even using Justin’s money to purchase the codeine cough syrup used in their sizzurp concoctions. These don’t sound like the kind of friends that will help Justin clean up his act — they sound like enablers, and it also looks like Justin is enabling them to serve an illegal and potentially dangerous substance to dozens of people.
Hopefully Justin Bieber kicks his mooching roommates out before something bad happens — someone might get arrested, or it’s even possible that a party-goer will overdose on purple drank. Justin obviously wants to alter his image as he and his Beliebers grow up, but unfortunately it looks like he’s chosen to surround himself with the wrong people to help him to accomplish this.
