On April 25, 2013, another juror was dismissed from the Jodi Arias Arizona murder trial just a week prior to the both sides making their closing arguments, according to ABC News.
Juror 8 is the third from the Arias jury to be let go since the trial began in January.

ABC reports he was dismissed without comment by Judge Sherry Stephens. His dismissal was announced after the prosecution rested its case.

Arias, 32, is on trial for the 2008 murder of former lover Travis Alexander, 30. He was stabbed 27 times, his throat was slashed from ear-to-ear, and he was shot in the head. She claims she killed him in self-defense after he became violent with her.

Arias’ defense attorneys are slated to call one final witness next week with closing arguments expected to take place on Thursday and Friday. Following that, the case will be given to the jury, reports ABC.
If Arias is found guilty of murdering Alexander, she could be sentenced to death.
