Spring is here and women enjoy wearing jewelry that has a light and breezy air to it. This spring consider creating a necklace with a butterfly pendant and pastel colors to celebrate the season in style. The necklace pictured in this article was created with a sparkly butterfly button, acrylic beads, and glass beads. Making simple necklaces with sparkly buttons is the type of project that will not take a lot of time, and which is appropriate for people of all ages. The following steps were used to create this butterfly necklace.
An oval glass bead with a pink stripe was placed on the center of the beading wire, which separated the attachments used to add the butterfly button.
The sparkly butterfly button was attached to the beading wire with two leverback earring findings since there were two holes in the button.
A pink acrylic pearl bead was added to each side of the necklace.
A gold colored glass bead was added to each side of the necklace.
An acrylic crystal bead was added to each side of the necklace.
The pattern repeated itself by adding a pink acrylic pearl bead to each side of the necklace.
Another clear crystal acrylic bead was added to each side of the necklace.
The repetition of the pattern continued by adding a gold glass colored beads to each side of the necklace.
The pattern was repeated on both sides of the necklace to completion.
A barrel clasp was attached to the necklace with needle-nose jewelry pliers.
