There’s something about a nice, squishy-soft egg salad sandwich that just makes you think of grandmas. It has to be made with white bread, the soft white bread that has no nutritional value, not that high-dollar whole grain stuff. And if you can follow it up with a big slice of fresh-baked apple pie, well, now that’s Heaven.
Grandma’s Ultimate Egg Salad
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 stalk of celery, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 to 4 tablespoons Grandma’s homemade mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
