A former Osceola police officer accused of cyber bullying one of her daughter’s classmates will not face charges, according to kait8 news.
Jennifer Ephlin left her job last year after she was accused of sending one or more of her 10-year-old daughter’s classmates numerous threatening messages over the internet. Ephlin initially received a 10 day suspension pending an investigation, but later left the department.
According to prosecuting attorney’s office, numerous complaints were filed by the parents of the children stating that Ephlin was sending threatening messages to their children over the internet. Ephlin denied the allegations.
Due to the case exceeding the statue of limitations, Ephlin was cleared of any prosecution. Ephlin was not formally charged in the incident.
