Female DNA located on a Boston Marathon Massacre bomb has led the FBI to the Rhode Island home of bomber Tamerlan Tsaernaev’s widow’s parents, according to a Fox News Report today, Tuesday, April 30.
An FBI official said, “We are there as part of our ongoing investigation, but we aren’t permitted to discuss specific aspects of our case.”
The FBI official was standing outside the Providence home where Katherine Russell and her three-year old daughter are staying.
Russell, who is the widow of suspected terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, who was killed after he alllegedly detonated two bombs near the finish line of the April 15 marathon, has not yet been named as a suspect in the bombing.
FBI officials reportedly left her residence with samples of her DNA which will probably now be compared to the female DNA found on the bomb components.
A home health aide, she reportedly worked up to 80 hours per week and allegedly did not know her radical Muslim husband’s plans to carry out a terror plot. She has kept a low profile since the attack, and is believed to have been living with her parents in West Kingston, R.I., since her husband was implicated in the Boston bombing which killed three people and injured 260 others. One of the victims was an eight-year old boy. Other victims lost arms and legs as a result of the cruelly devised bomb.
Death penalty attorney Judy Clarke was announced today as an additional attorney for 19-year old Dzhokar Tsarnaev, who has also been charged in the Boson Marathon Massacre murders. Clarke successfully saved the life of the unabomber Ted Kaczynski.
Both Tsarnaev brothers are on videotape shown placing bombs near the finish line, one of them near an eight year old boy who was slain.
Greta Van Susteren said on Fox News today she expected three murder charges and 260 attempted murder charges to be filed against the brothers by the time the case gets to trial.
Van Susteren said Clarke wins cases at the punishment phase by getting clients who are looking at the death penalty a life sentence instead. She also represnted Jared Laughner who shot former U.S. Congressperson Gabby Giffords and killed several others in the crowd surrounding her in Tucson, Arizona.
Van Susteren said Clarke rarely if ever granted interviews.
Fox News also reported Tuesday that the terrorist brothers and their families received more than $100,000 in food stamps and other welfare benefits from the U.S. while they were probably plotting their terroristic activities.
