We lobby and educate the government and the general public to promote motorcycling in a safe and positive image. We endeavor to enlist the cooperation and participation of all organizations and individuals that share a similar interest in preserving our American tradition of freedom.” http://esteroriver.abateflorida.com/

Friday is the start of the festivities with a more flexible schedule to things where drum circles will form around bon fires within the camping area and an open mic/jam session will take place on the stage set for Saturday’s full day roster of live entertainment.

Saturday is the main event as a great roster of music will grace this event when Cindi Crowley will open the stage at 10:00 AM, to then be followed by the best in local Country music – Grayson Rogers Band. The day will continue non stop as later in the afternoon Superbreed brings their presence to the stage and finally, the closing act of the event will be Yazgar’s Farm and their legendary Black Sabbath tribute!

Meet the local entertainers for the event:

Grayson Rogers Band:

Grayson Rogers Band is one of the area’s newest country bands, bringing the big sounds of Nashville to Southwest Florida. The band performs mainly modern rockin’ country, perennial country favorites, as well as their own original songs. They have been performing live since August 2012, and have been honored to share the stage with big-name country acts such as Sara Evans, Chris Cagle, Joe Nichols, Alan Jackson, Rodney Atkins, Travis Tritt, and Dustin Lynch. Grayson Rogers Band has a passion for their music and the desire to take that music to the highest level.

Superbreed:

Formed in 1999, Superbreed was one of the premier original bands on the Ft. Myers music scene having played hundreds of shows around the state and opening for numerous national acts. Superbreed switched gears to play covers, as well as originals in 2006.

The band covers 80’s; 90’s and some current rock/metal from bands like Motley Crue, Skid Row, Rev Theory, Poison, Guns N’ Roses, and Buckcherry to name a few, as well as adding their own original music to the set lists.

Yazgar’s Farm:

Kirk Richards of local band, Yazgar’s Farm, is very active in planning and overseeing this event, as well as representing some of the best local talent on the event stage. This is the 10th year Yazgar’s has played this annual Abate event.

Yazar’s Farm is more than a ‘tribute’ to Max Yasgur, who allowed his dairy farm to host Woodstock, as this band has played every Woodstock reunion since 1989; they mix original music with the songs from the original Woodstock era on up through the 90’s and beyond. A dash of theatrical flair mixed with some Black Sabbath and Jimi Hendrix like you will never hear unless you see this band again…and you pack a great show with something for everyone.

This band has shared the stage with such greats as: Alan Jackson, Arlo Guthrie, Molly Hatchet, Reba McIntyre and many more over the years this music fan has taken in their shows. They pack an experienced, seasoned and solid rock frame to things that works.

Kirk Richards is the founder of this fine line up and their show is about evoking memories within their audience and having seen this band progress over the years while maintaining their Woodstock flair and holding to their original goal, to deliver good gigs for the people.

Come on out for couple days of great folks, food fun and some fabulous live music! Contact Kirk Richards with any questions at: 239-495-3317 or kirkexp@aol.com.

The event address is: 19990 Corkscrew Rd., Estero. Event grounds inquiries please contact: 239-313-9078.
