High school has always been romanticized for the great and awful things that it is. For a few, it’s a deep dive into everything that humanity can offer, love, laughter, friends, heartbreaks and lots of growing up. To many, it’s a miserable but necessary adventure full of monsters that are capable of destroying people from within. To a few, it’s their first step to the person they want to become and a chance to be remembered for all the days to come.
Regardless of which group you belong to, all the adventures, misadventures, mundane and ground breaking memories are celebrated in that one ever important event in high school, the prom. It’s the one night unspoken feelings are finally confessed, people are thanked, apologies are offered and one last try at approaching that guy (or girl) you’ve been crushing on is attempted.
As mundane as it may sound, many would still want another chance at that prom for all the unresolved feelings and businesses. This is your chance… only better.
The Project Angel Food is sponsoring Prom Night without the chaperone and curfew. Anyone can come, with or without a date, to dance, drink spiked punch, participate in a little friendly competition and win prizes. The best part is that you get to raise money for Project Angel Food.
All you need to do is ask your friends and families to sponsor you. Every $5 raised is equivalent to one meal for someone who needs it. The one who gets to raise the most money will become the king and queen of the night.
Go and redeem your high school prom memories by creating better ones.
