The City of Forney is now accepting applications for the position of Certified Police Officer. Applications will be accepted until May 1, 2013 at 5 p.m. Testing will be held on May 4, 2013 at 9 a.m.
If you are TCLEOSE certified, you possess a high school diploma or GED, and you possess a valid Texas driver’s license, you may complete a police employment application and mail it or bring it to Forney City Hall.

Applications cannot be faxed, and though you can submit a resume with your application, they will not accept a resume in lieu of an application. The testing for this position will include a written examination and a physical agility test. If you pass these tests you must submit to an “extensive background investigation, physical, psychological exam, and drug screen.” The annual salary starts at $42,883.
