Is Justin Bieber going to be prosecuted? The spitting allegations are no monkey business, according to the L.A. Country Sheriff’s Department. Authorities are referring the case over to the district attorney’s office. And while officials are not too pleased over the, well…saliva projectile, it’s the “Beauty and a Beat” singer’s recent bad boy behavior that is of concern, according to a March. 30 TMZ report.
The Yahoo trend, “Bieber to be prosecuted?” is causing a ripple on social media, particularly among fans of the pop star, most commonly referred to as “Beliebers.”
While Justin Bieber’s spitting investigation has not wrapped yet, authorities suggested they will likely pursue criminal battery charges against Bieb.
Sure, the loogie incident is of concern, but it turns out that the motivation behind Bieber’s possible prosecution has more to do with a disturbing pattern of behavior that needs to be nipped at the source.
LAPD pointed to Justin’s run-ins with the law dating back to last year. It’s no secret Bieber has been stopped a time or two for alleged moving violations, fights, beef with the paparazzi, smoking weed and the list goes on.
Nowadays, the singer’s name is being mentioned in the same sentence with the likes of Amanda Bynes and even Lindsay Lohan. Imagine that?
We’re told members of the Dept. believe it’s relevant Bieber has shown a pattern of disregard for the law, including speeding tickets, fights, threats, reckless driving, drugs and more.
The latest incident took place in pop star’s posh neighborhood in Calabasas allegedly over Bieber’s reckless driving in the community. Apparently, Justin and a 47-year-old man got into a heated argument and one thing led to another, including allegations Bieber spit on the neighbor.
While there were no arrests at the time, police say their pursuit of the pop star has less to do with his celebrity and more on his need for help.
Is Justin Bieber going to be prosecuted? Well…should he?
