Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy promised they would keep things civil in their divorce at the time they filed the documents to end their marriage, but after four months of back and forth, things have gotten a little out of control. Jason is reportedly demanding the couple’s NYC apartment and Bethenny has refused to share custody. But now, amid what seems to have gotten to be a pretty nasty court battle, the two have finally agreed on something.
On April 30, a source revealed to TMZ that both Bethenny and Jason have filed documents saying they have agreed to divorce based on the “irretrievable breakdown” of their nearly three-year marriage.
Unfortunately, there is still much more to be decided on, despite their having signed a prenup before their 2010 nuptials. The custody of their child, child support, and spousal support, are three major issues and so is the division of property.
The judge gave Bethenny and Jason a deadline of May 24th to decide on a parenting plan, but considering they both want sole custody and are refusing to compromise, that seems nearly impossible.
The pair is also arguing over a computer, although it’s unclear why.
