Being Human, which aired on Syfy March 25th 2013, is getting closer to what Donna’s end game is, and whether or not Sally can actually win against her. With only 2 episodes left, how will this season end?
Sally is decaying and pretty much wanting to eat Josh and Nora. So she begs them to lock her in though they are trying to give her hope. Josh has the idea to go back to Donna’s soup kitchen to make her leave Sally alone, except the soup kitchen is no longer there. In its place is an empty lot.
Not letting this deter them, Josh remembers that the psychic helped them before and maybe she can help Sally again, however before she can leave the house, Sally needs food to clear up her skin. First she goes to Max to look for a snack, but he vetoes that idea. So Aidan steps in and allows her to take a bite out of him. It is good that he can heal.
She goes to the psychic’s house, and while she can’t really stop what is happening to Sally, she does give her a book of Latin which may or may not help her. But Donna is not quite out the picture, as she sent Ray, who we think may be her own zombie servant or even a ghoul, to kill the psychic for helping Sally.
Aidan is in a pickle. Kenny is leaving his bubble, and he is blackmailed by Kenny to change him. He agrees and sneaks Kenny out the hospital. Kenny is out and about having the time of his life, but in the background a figure is following them.
When Josh’s sister comes over, they all go to a strip joint. Let’s back up a bit. Josh and Nora decided to get married sooner rather than later, since Sally is getting all zombified. Nora invites Emily and she decides to take all the guys to an impromptu bachelor party at a strip joint, which turns out to not be a good thing. Emily learns about vampires and realizes that Josh was telling the truth about what he was.
Emily doesn’t take the news well and leaves Josh and Aidan.
Aidan performs his duty to Kenny and walks outside; only he is attacked by a deformed vampire. They fight and Aidan defeats him, by dusting him, but as he is killing him, Aidan realizes that the deformed vamp was Kat’s ex Jeff. Now Aidan is concerned about Kenny.
Another solid episode! But let’s get to what may be happening to Aidan. He is blacking out and now he is turning people. Jeff was a deformed vampire. Now, could this have been because even though the vampires are cured, the consumption of werewolf blood has somehow changed them at the genetic level? Jeff looked like some type of throwback, even werewolf like and this is something that may happen to Kenny.
Sally is doomed, whether she believes it or not and the fact that Donna is sending her own minion to assure that she attains Sally’s soul. But Donna could have also had the psychic killed, because she knows that Sally could still be saved.
With two episodes left, Being Human is gearing up to a crazy season finale.
This gets 5 stars out of 5.
