I do agree that attitude goes a long way to living a happy life. The only attitude you can change is your own. You can change your attitude and get serious about your relationship to God.
But it isn’t always that easy and sometimes there is more to your obstacles and difficulties than just attitude.
How about an attitude of gratitude. I know that’s tough sometimes. It took awhile for me to get this. Especially when you’re going thru an extremely trying time. My spiritual adviser had to keep telling me over and over again. “You have two hands don’t you?”. “You have two legs, don’t you?” She advised me to start a list and don’t stop until I get to 100. This really brings me back to reality when I’m feeling sorry for myself. Even in the middle of the day, if I’m feeling bad, I can just start mentally making my list. This changes the energy in your body. Now, I’m not to slumped over in my mind. I straighten my back up a little.
Don’t forget to do something nice for someone else. That always works to keep your attitude in adjustment. It might just be knocking on the door of an elderly lady and asking if she would like her yard cleared of leaves. It will get you outside, doing something productive, and put a big smile on her face. She might even show up next week, offering you some oatmeal cookies, which would be a pick me up for you then. What goes around comes around. Jesus, does little things for us everyday. What if Jesus, felt sorry for himself all the time? He would be studying the word and getting out there. If he had social media available, he would have used it for God’s Glory. So pick your self up and adjust your attitude.
