For Friday, April 5th 2013 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:
Happy Endings (ABC, 8 p.m.) – “The Incident” / “Bros Before Bros” – When Max (Adam Pally) tries out Jane (Eliza Coupe) and Alex’s (Elisha Cuthbert) long-time hairdresser, Krisjahn (guest star RuPaul), he gets some good salon gossip on the girls, but his loose lips may cause World War III between the Kerkovitch sisters. Meanwhile, the Steak Me Home truck is stolen and Dave (Zachary Knighton) and Penny (Casey Wilson) try to figure out whodunit– but are perplexed by what they find when they finally locate the thief. Then, in the second episode, with the wedding coming up, Penny decides to reach out to her estranged dad Roy (guest star Andy Richter). The reunion is sufficiently awkward but Alex encourages Penny to be optimistic, while Jane is more skeptical. Meanwhile, Dave enlists Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) and Max’s help in sabotaging “The Brazilian” food truck, a.k.a. Dave’s #1 nemesis, but Max accidentally falls for the enemy’s son and has to choose between his best friend or boyfriend.
Nikita (The CW, 8 p.m.) – “Tipping Point” – Nikita (Maggie Q) and Michael (Shane West) learn of a new prosthetic hand that could have Michael back to his old self, but it comes at a steep price. Meanwhile, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Sean (Dillon Casey) are tasked with investigating who, inside Division, is behind a mutiny that ends in bloodshed.
Cult (The CW, 9 p.m.) – “Suffer The Children” – E.J. (guest star Stacy Farber) slips Jeff (Matt Davis) a copy of Sakelik’s (guest star Aisha Hinds) police personnel file which reveals that Sakelik was taken into custody by Child Protective Services 25 years ago after being found with other abandoned children at a house in Arrowhead. Jeff and Skye (Jessica Lucas) locate the house and question the owner, Annabelle (guest star Brigid Brannagh). Sakelik tracks Jeff and Skye to the house and they barely escape with their lives. Stuart (guest star Jeffrey Pierce) continues to befriend Roger (Robert Knepper). Meanwhile, on the television show, Kelly (Alona Tal) finds a lock of Meadow’s hair in the trunk of Billy’s (Robert Knepper) car.
Grimm (NBC, 9 p.m.) – “One Angry Fuchsbau” – While on jury duty, Rosalee (Bree Turner) tasks Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) to help stop a defense attorney from using his particular “Wesen wiles” to overturn what should be an open-and-shut murder case. Back at the precinct, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) brings Nick and Hank in on his own recent dealings with the Verrat, to keep them on their toes. Meanwhile, a return to the trailer brings a flurry of memories of Nick rushing back to Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch).
Blue Bloods (CBS, 10 p.m.) – “Loss of Faith” – When a devoutly religious young woman is found murdered in a cemetery, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) questions her family who is shocked to learn that she had a secret relationship.
