According to ComicBook.com on March 31, AMC tweeted that a confirmed amount of characters will die in the season finale of “The Walking Dead”. To clarify, this doesn’t count the zombie extras in the show either.
An interview with David Morrissey and Laurie Holden had discussed Andrew Lincoln’s half-hearted remark about how 27 will be dying, but the twitter today by AMC confirmed the speculative outlook. Fans had thought Lincoln was just joking or might have just picking an arbitrary number, but it looks like the closer the clock ticks to tonight’s “The Walking Dead”, the more information is being revealed. On social media outlets, it appears fans thought that Morrissey and Holden were just going along with the gag.
AMC tweeted these words under the #FightTheLiving hash tag:
“27 people die tonight. Who do you think is going down trying to”.
One could only think there’s a handful of main characters, so there must be a lot of extras, but 27 is a number just big enough to include the more notable characters.
Also, just a short time ago, David Morrissey tweeted another one of his “hints” in the form of a song on the YouTube video, “I Am Leaving” by Blue Roses.
If this is the case, Chris Hardwick’s “Talking Dead” is going have quite the lengthy “Walker Memorandum”.
Stay tuned for the season finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead: Welcome to the Tombs” at 9 p.m. EST.
