“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion featured plenty of drama, but one drama queen was missing from the action. On March 25, Bravo aired the reunion special following the show’s Season 3 finale, and at the start of the show, host Andy Cohen announced that Adrienne Maloof would not be in attendance. You can watch Andy Cohen talk about Adrienne Maloof in the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion clip here.
“Today we are missing one of the Housewives who’s been with us since the beginning. Adrienne Maloof has decided not to participate today,” Cohen said, before touching on a leaked family secret that Maloof refused to address on camera.
“We know that frustrated you in the audience. It frustrated all of us too,” he dramatically added. “Adrienne won’t be here to tell her side of the story. Not only is she absent tonight, but she won’t be on the show next season. Adrienne Maloof’s final act as a Housewife was NOT showing up tonight.”
But Adrienne Maloof says she had a very good reason for skipping the reunion. In an interview with Celebuzz, she said, “I think that Andy has to understand that [ex-husband] Paul [Nassif] and I were under a gag order from the court system, not to be able to speak about our marriage, our children, our divorce. So, therefore, since that was the whole season there wasn’t really much to talk about.”
During the reunion special, Brandi Glanville slammed her nemesis, saying, “When you sign up for a reality show, you don’t get to have a secret.”
In the Philadelphia area, Part 2 of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion airs next Monday at 8:00 p.m. on Bravo.
