Unless you live under a rock, or simply do not get on the internet, watch TV or play games very much at all, then you already know that 2013 has already seen some pretty hefty gaming. However, a lot of the games that are making the rounds right now are actually roll overs from 2012.
The biggest MMORPG to date is World of Warcraft, and the latest expansion; Mists of Pandaria, is huge! Players were pretty upset with the last expansion; Cataclysm, which wouldn’t have been so terrible if it hadn’t been for the areas that you had to go to.
I will admit, I was pretty psyched up about heading into an underwater world, but after a few quests, I hated the whole expansion! Seems unfair, I know, but if you’ve played it then I know you very likely understand.
Sadly, it appeared to be the same case with all the areas in there, and after leveling only two characters through Cataclysm, I understood what all the fuss was.
Now as far as other RPGs go, there were a few interesting titles that people are still playing right now. DarkSiders II is certainly one that holds some merit. God of War: Ascension is another. Keep your eyes open though, because
I have it on good authority that there are supposed to be some pretty entertaining titles hitting us this year before. and one of those is gonna be Grand Theft Auto! Watch out, it already has a thick running for game of the year, even though it hasn’t even released yet, and won’t until close to the end of the year.
